Leading company for 30 years in its core activity,   wood heating, FONDIS became famous in the market for fireplaces. Here is the portrait of an Alsace-based SME full of energy.

Since its conception in 1978, FONDIS maintains his development based on research for equipments conform to the requirements of wellbeing housing. After his owner change in 2003, FONDIS developed an innovating technical strategy, with the predisposition to provide products and services with high added value.
In this process of reflection and manufacturing, FONDIS pays particular attention to the development of clean energy and economic issues. The latest technology Zero CO reflects this commitment of responsible engagement.
In addition, its membership and its participation in the corporation of the Charter "Green Flame" in collaboration with ADEME (French Agency for Environment and Energy Management) and a group of manufacturers, but also the performance of its appliances (tax credit of 50% in France), are evidences of FONDIS involvement in energy saving and environmental protection.
Day after day, Fondis ® embodies its values of quality and progress in fields as diverse as technology, performance, design and ecology with particular attention to the "pleasure without constraint" inevitable dimension of today's world.

Innovation

Pioneer in wood fuel heating; FONDIS cultivates its difference and implements in an active research and development strategy, which turns the company as an engineering company. In a proven creative capacity, FONDIS® places the industrial tools to service every consumer.

Its constant business strategy is reflected in launching a new era of fireplaces in 2007: the Carina ® and Ulys ® range. Delicate combination of performance and aesthetics, these new wood burning devices meet the trends of our century.

With this force, the company launched in 2008 an exclusive chimneys surrounds collection with running thread the currents of contemporary art of the twentieth century. Fire by FONDIS®, is positioned as a new treasury and undoubtedly opens up new perspectives for the housing of tomorrow!

The union of power

In perpetual research for new procedures combining simplicity, reliability and performance, FONDIS deposited more than 15 patents and has been award on many occasions and namely the National Trophy for Innovation in 2006.
Guarantee of quality and know-how, these awards certify its complete competency.
In a concern for excellence, the Alsace based SM invests 6% of its turnover in the development of its products. The Research & Development service is the heart of the business at FONDIS. More than 10% of its workforce works in this service and 1/3 of its employees have engineer and technician level.

A controlled opening

Turned abroad, FONDIS exports its products in over 40 countries and makes nearly half of its turnover (45%) at export. The most representative countries are the European Union but also Switzerland, Turkey, Norway, Ukraine, Russia, Japan and Australia.
